I don’t know why I don’t wear jumpsuits a little more often. They are super comfy, flattering and they come in so many different styles that you can easily dress it down or dress it up. We had an event at the weekend with the whole family in London and as we had to travel (I’m still breastfeeding my little six month old!) I wanted to be super comfy and dressy, so this jumpsuit was too good to pass up on as its structured tailoring looks like something off the SS17 catwalk.
As occasion season is upon us (weddings, parties, weddings you get my drift) I tend to go for a dress but this time I wanted to choose a different style and well it doesn’t always have to be a dress, right?! This super pretty jumpsuit (here and similar here and affordable here) is from my favourite capsule line, ASOS WHITE (yup I mean I pretty own much of their collection!). It has a zip front with wide legs and the legs are voluminous so I have teamed it with my Zara nude suede mules (similar here and here) to give me extra height and it works really well together.
I thought it would be hard to pull of (as i’m not super tall) but it was surprisingly flattering. As this season it’s all about wide leg pants (mentioned in my post here) designers such as Victoria Beckham, Tibi and Fendi have been showcasing their love for this style and the high street have followed suit. It’s a completely versatile jumpsuit and I reckon even with a pair of sandals during the warmer months would look super chic in the day!
What do you guys think about trying a jumpsuit for an occasion?
