I love flowers and never get tired of them, there’s something so pretty and feminine about them so when I saw this dress with an all over floral print I knew I had to get it. There’s something about floral dressing that screams spring and initially I thought this print wouldn’t work for me, but that’s what I love about fashion, it allows you to push yourself out of your comfort zone and try something new, so that’s exactly what I did.
This dress is super pretty, guys; it’s a perfect feminine midi length with gorgeous ruffle details to the bottom and its relaxed loose fit means you can totally dress it up with some heels or dress it down with some sneakers. The dress has gorgeous ruffle long sleeves with tie details and a notch neck keeping to this season’s ruffle trend perfectly!
You guys know how much I love mixing prints with colour so I styled this floral dress from Marks and Spencer here (and it’s in the sale!!) and similar here with a pop of metallic boots (here and similar here and here) because as long as the weather is this grey and dull I can still wear my over worn DUNE boots for as long as possible! And at LFW and PFW it was clear that metallic boots are this fall’s must have boots still! And you know what, I think it works really well together. Teaming these DUNE boots with this floral romantic dress helps toughen the look up.
I have to say there are so many floral prints to choose from on the high street, but Marks and Spencer have totally upped their game. The designs from their Limited Edition capsule is actually really good and totally affordable. They have kept this capsule very much on trend for this season with ruffles, athletic inspired fashion and even their jeans are cropped and frayed. I admit, I normally shy away from Marks and Spencer (that typical stereotype that only your grandmothers shop there!) but this dress has captured me and I especially loved how it looked and felt on, perfect for that daytime brunch with the girls!
