When it comes to suitwear I like to be matching (but never formal) with a modern twist and this Self Portrait suit teamed with my Senso Mules did just that! I had two brand meetings at the weekend — which I’m super excited to share soon with you guys — and I wanted to look effortless but pulled together like these satin two-toned trousers from Self Portrait (here) do. I’m really into white tones when it comes to spring and summer, like these white blazers I am really digging, here and here. As white is so versatile and easy to wear, the white suit is a great staple piece this SS17 and will transition nicely into AW17 teamed with a great pair of ankle boots.
The satin trousers from Self Portrait are a beautiful two-toned pair of pants with white satin detailing to the front and blush pink velvet at the back. These trousers have the perfect twist and when teamed with a simple white t-shirt from ASOS (here) and my SENSO Ray Mules (here) you have a relaxed but put together vibe going on (try to avoid wearing court shoes if you don’t want to look like you have just walked out of the office!).
If the shoes are too white for you when worn with the whole outfit, then SENSO have released other colours here and here which work well with an all white look. My bag is an old item from Zara that I purchased in NYC and my bracelets are from Anarchy Street (and if you use code SANTINAHARRISON you get 20% off their entire site!)
So what do you guys think? If you really want to make a statement, then relaxed suiting like this from SELF PORTRAIT will do just that!
