Whether you like keeping things simple or prefer to make a statement, incorporating jewellery into your look is always a good idea. And with spring upon us, it’s the perfect excuse to update your collection! I talked about layering your necklaces in a previous Fashion Memo (here) and today is all about layering those fingers! Layering is no longer restricted to just your clothes, nope, and to add chic detailing to your dressing loading multiple fingers with multiple rings is a great way to add an effortless layering effect!
jewellerybox offer a variety of delicate pieces to add your already growing collection and trust me you will want every piece from their collection! From gold dipped rings and necklaces to stunning sterling silver bracelets and toe rings! You name it they have it and guys I’m obsessed with their rings. Delicate dainty rings for those polished fingers come in silver and gold and in a variety of textures which is great way to layer rings and I found my perfect pieces to add a little flair to a casual outfit and I’m not sure I will be taking these off!
I’m wearing:
Sterling Silver stacking Rings
Double Triangles Silver Ring (perfect for stacking!)
If you caught my Instagram stories last week, you would have seen how these came beautifully packaged (I’m a sucker for beautiful packaging!) and I was really pleased how my ring layering turned out with these pieces. Perfect for those spring days, ring layering is my new favourite way to update my wardrobe without breaking the bank! And these pieces I am wearing are the perfect minimal chic style I have been searching for!
HOW TO RING LAYER LIKE AN IT GIRL
STEP 1
Decide if you want just just gold, silver, rose gold or the big thing to do at the moment is to mix your metal (this one is probably my favourite to do)!
STEP 2
It’s not about matching your fingers, so you don’t need a ring on every finger. You could even have one just on your thumb and stack the rings how you feel. Have a play around and see what looks and feels right to you.
STEP 3
If you are looking for variations look for rings that have details to it. For example stone or crystal will add variation to your rings or even look for textured rings.
STEP 4
This is the time to play around and mix and match, until you find a combination you are happy with and reflects your unique style!
STEP 5
Most brands these days offer stacking rings, or lots of rings that you can buy independently but work together. My tip is to buy a few rings from a single brand and if you buy a few at a time you will notice your collection steadily growing and those fingers carefully stacked!
Here are my favourite edit picks from jewellerybox, perfect for stacking those fingers!
From Left to right:
Double Triangles Silver Ring (perfect for stacking!)
Gold Infinity Loop Stacking Ring
Twist Sterling Silver stacking Ring
(a little tip- it may be a toe ring but you can always use it as part of your ring layering like I have- no one would know!)
