If you know me, you know how much I am obsessed with denim and you can never have too much in your wardrobe, right? As the weather is warming up, I can finally wear my new favourite piece and summer wardrobe staple, the cool girl denim jacket!
I have been on the hunt for the perfect oversized relaxed fit for so long now and finally found my perfect denim jacket from 7 for All Mankind, I got mine from ASOS but you can get it here and here. 7 for All Mankind are my favourite denim brand to go to, and this jacket has me obsessed!
The denim jacket this season, is the cool girls new season must have. To add a little unique and not to mention a bad ass touch to your jacket, why not look to customise your jacket with a little embroidery? I worked with Hand and Lock to create a bespoke unique touch to my new denim piece. I first heard about Hand and Lock London as they customised Kanye West pieces for his Yeezy show and it was exactly what I was after. I wanted my name embroided on the back of the jacket, and I’m super happy it turned out exactly how I imagined it. I went through many swatches with Hand And Lock, from different fonts to unique colours, they have everything you need to capture your unique style and I thoroughly enjoyed working with them on this and felt totally at ease with leaving everything to them to create a bespoke design!
Now every girl should have a denim jacket in their wardrobe as it’s so versatile and you can team it with absolutely anything. I’ve teamed mine with my new designer obsession, LeKilt (here) and I managed to get this in the sale!
I love the way the elegance and romantic feel of this white pleated perforated dress teamed with my new denim piece, is the right amount of toughness it needs! I’ve been so obsessed with blush neutrals lately, so I’ve teamed the dress with these super pretty Dune Mules (here) that were gifted to me from Dune and they haven’t left my feet yet (#aloveaffairwith Dune blog post will be up this week)! I’ve finished the look with my FURLA dupe bag from Marks and Spencer (here) and Miu Miu sunglasses (now sold out from NET-a-Porter but similar here).
