With the weather warming up last weekend, it’s definitely getting me super excited for summer and it was so nice to not wear a jacket! I’m obsessing over striped blue cotton shirts at the moment (I can’t get enough) but my orders did not arrive in time, so I borrowed my husband’s striped cotton shirt from REISS (here) and teamed it with my new tailored shorts also from REISS (here) for our friends annual garden party. What I love about these shorts is that they are versatile enough to wear to the office (teamed with a blazer and some super pretty pumps) as well as the weekend!
I teamed an old pair of Zara tall lace up sandals (which I found stored away in my summer boxes!) similar here and here, with my new Cult Gaia bag (here) for a relaxed but pulled together look. My go to accessory for the summer is a boat hat — and no one quite does a hat like Janessa Leone. I’m wearing the Klint (here) hat and, guys, it’s been one of my best purchases made. I wore it all last summer and will be wearing it on repeat again this summer!
If you are looking for an investment piece this summer, then the classic cotton shirts that have been re-worked, are your perfect and most versatile piece you could purchase, and MANGO have lots of great shirts for you (or simply borrow your husband’s or boyfriend’s shirt!)
