HOW BOOK CLUB : TOM FORD

It’s that time again to write and review another book for the HOW Book Club! This month I’m talking all about the Anna Wintour of the fashion world, Mr Tom Ford!

How could I not add Tom Ford’s book to my coffee table collection? Now I’m a super huge fan of Tom Ford, and this book is the perfect coffee table book. In fact, I would go as far to say “the holy grail” of all coffee table books! A little bit on the pricey side, but totally worth the spend. The book is immensely heavy (just to worn you) and in my favourite kind of colours (if you can call black and white colours!).

The fashion director took big brands such as Gucci and YSL into new fresh directions and this books talks all about it. You will find photos of product shots, ads, runway shots, and pictures of the man himself that are editorially beautiful and pulled from the fashion archive! You will find all his work, how he came to see his vision being pulled to life which makes the read an inspiring one! Whenever I need a little inspiration I grab a coffee and read this book. Every shot and every word is filled with Tom’s passion and you can see that throughout the book. I’ll admit I probably look at the pictures more than I read it (anyone else slightly guilty of this?) and my guests say the same!

This is a definite must have for any fashion lover and stylish home. The most talked about fashion designer of our time and it’s sleek and monochrome design, this books gets all my guests talking!
