HOW Eats : Blixen London

I dined at Blixen London earlier in July, and it’s probably the most beautiful place I have yet eaten in! It was how I envisioned Bali to look just placed in the middle of London. The interior design was amazing.

I first heard about Blixen London from my blogger girl pal KirbySmall, and I knew I had to try it out!  One of the reasons I enjoy blogging so much is that I get to visit some amazing places and then get to write about them!

Blixen is located in Old Spitalfields, London and it’s open seven days a week serving you brunch, lunch and dinner. You can pretty much get anything you want, from sandwiches to fish. There is a dish to suit all and the food is well complemented with an exceptional range of wine and cocktails to suit your fancy (I don’t drink so I had a rather nice cappuccino instead!). I went for lunch so had something light: I had the courgette salad, which was super yummy and it was a good portion size.

Now let’s talk about the interior! It is AMAZING! They have a conservatory full of plants, large wicker lights and
warm light bulbs that will just literally melt each interior enthusiast’s heart! I found this to be a nice and unexpected escape from the hustle and bustle of the City. I visited Blixen during the week and managed to get there when it was nice and quiet, which meant I could take all these pretty photos.

There was also a bar located inside and it was super pretty almost with a 70’s vibe going on.

I would highly recommend visiting Blixen if you are looking for something a little different but with a good vibe, yummiest of foods, friendly staff and amazing interior decor. I will definitely be coming back and think I am going to try one of the fish dishes next!
