Basic Top and Distressed Mini skirt

With the days a little warmer (with a little rain!) my weekend summer uniform still consists of denim, but in the form of a mini skirt! Now I’m not usually a big fan of “the mini skirt” but at the moment I’m totally digging them and just purchased a few from Mango for holiday which have a similar cut to this Zara mini skirt (here and similar here and here). Everything from the distressed denim, to the a-line cut and frayed hem makes the outfit look chic. The cut is not too short making my legs appear that slightly longer (I’m 5″6 so kinda short) and my oversized belt from ASOS (here) pulls me in nice and tight at the waist.

Naturally I paired the look with my signature look mules from Dune London (here) which has become my summer staple and I just cant seem to take them off my feet! Super comfy and super chic . These super pretty basic tees from La Redoute . These basic tees are my favourite for day-to-day wear. With a grandad button down collar and short sleeve length (slightly longer than your average crew neck tee) the basic tees have had a chic upgrade. If you caught my Instagram stories, you would have seen I got these in navy blue and nude too!

Whenever I see Mules I think of hues of white! Wish i could pull this look off, but its a great take on weekend denim jeans.

I absolutely love this look you put together! I’m not a fan of skirts because they always rise up and never stay on my waist BUT that skirt you linked is too gorgeous!!
