My little boy Max-Rocco turned the big ONE in August and my husband and I threw him a special “wild one” birthday party with all our closest friends and family who have made Max’s year a special one!
I started the day super early and headed out to pick some flowers for the table arrangement. Whenever I throw a party, my go-to flowers are gysphilias and I love adorning a table in little vases (these were borrowed from my beautiful best friend) with these.
I’ve always wanted a teepee tent at a kids party, there’s something about them and all the kids loved playing with this, not to mention it totally went with the “wild one” theme we planned for Max-Rocco.
No party is complete without a lemonade stand, and I was super excited with how this turned out! I decorated the stand with crates of lemons (which I then made lemon drizzle out of) and a homemade tissue garland – which was actually really easy to make, not to mention a fun way to get all the family involved!
Doesn’t the lemonade stand look beautiful guys?
Now no party is complete without a balloon setup? I’m a little board of gold balloons so I found these super pretty number One balloons from etsy (here) in rose gold which worked really well with the twenty white star balloons (here) and we dotted them around the home and garden.
With Max-Rocco turning one, I wanted to create a way to share the amazing memories we have captured with him over the year, so when I was contacted by The guys at Photobox I was beyond super excited! As you guys know I am a super huge fan of them (see post here of my photos with them) and you can create soooooo many different things with them to share with your loved ones. From posters, Polaroids to photo books and cushions you name it, Photobox can turn your memories into something super amazing! Now I love polaroids, so I got these (here) printed and created a collage at the party which I put up on our wall and I was super pleased with how it turned out. The quality of the prints were exceptional (who needs a Polaroid camera when you can get these done?) and I thought this was also a great way to give our guests a little something to keep and takeaway with them, so I ensured I had a picture of every guest with Max and popped it in their thankyou bags along with a hand print thank you card from Max-Rocco.
I wanted to create something different with the collage, something different other than your wired memo board. So I grabbed some leaves from some of trees and decorated it an even square and filled it up with these Polaroids for a bohemian wild feel which worked really well (not to mention cost effective!).
I am so pleased with these prints, they are a great way to bring a little fun and share special memories with your guests. They get people laughing and talking and also helps you relive those special moments that time sometimes makes you forget! The delivery was super speedy, the service is super friendly (always able to chat with anyone for some advice!) and the quality of printing is second to none. Photobox is the only place I go to to print our special memories -and there’s always a gorge at discount code to be found.
A huge thankyou to PhotoBox for creating the prettiest and most special memory collage and thank you gifts for my guests!

When I saw the picture with the tent pop up I had to have a read! What a lovely way to decorate the photos.

Loving all the ideas here. My boy is now 4 but one on the way so will keep this in mind. Great ideas, think you should do more mummy things as I’m enjoying them!
These photos look amazing! I’m a sucker for these types of things. The collage looks so pretty as well 🙂
