Can you wear white during fall season? Should I button up the dress all the way? How can I make it more fall appropriate? And I finally came to the conclusion that “yes” you can totally wear white during fall, and no let’s wear it half open with a pair of bad ass socks and kitten heel mules and add this seasons must have hat (here) and you can totally make the white midi dress fall appropriate, simply by adding accessories that are fall’s biggest trend.
Olivia Rubin literally sets my pulse raising. You know that one designer, where you always go to first and can’t get enough of?! Her unique designs, and attention to detail with this dress is one of my favourites from her capsule. It’s playful broderie design with a grandad collar (which the high street can’t get enough of at the moment) and midi length simply suits any shape or size. Pulled in with a tie waist this dress is a great piece to take you from day to night as well as season to season.
I wore this dress to my sisters meal with a load of girls and hey, I wanted to look good so I threw his dress on! To make it more season appropriate I styled it with this season’s must have hat, the baker boy hat (here) and a cute pair of ribbed brown socks (here) with my over worn Zara Mules (now sold out). I remember my mum wearing socks with shoes with the prettiest of dresses and I have a strong feeling that this trend is going to be big for this season!
What do you guys think of the new way we are editing over here at huesofwhite? I’m loving the new grain edit at the moment and really hope you guys enjoy the new direction!
