What’s In My Cabinet: The Cult Beauty Winter Edit

I’ve been fortunate and super lucky enough to work with some great brands that have helped my skin during the colder months, and as I’ve signed a few more skincare contracts I’ll be doing a monthly ” Cult Beauty Buys” edit after having tried and tested. The change in temperature when it comes to winter really effects my skin, so it’s super important for me to get a winter skincare routine down to a tee and one that truly works for me. Your lips are constantly chapped, dry skin patches from the winter freeze and hands that feel kinda like sandpaper, anyone with me?!

The first product that has been helping me through winter (and works through summer too) is REN’s Anti-Fatigue Toning Body Oil (here). I’ve shot a little 2 minute film using my new Olympus I got for Christmas on how to best use this product. It’s one of my favourite out there in helping instantly by replenishing the skin, by locking in moisture (essential for me during the colder months!). It instantly restores softness to my skin whilst the oils help relax muscle fatigue, so for me this is my all round favourite product for the body, it’s a true miracle for the skin!

Another favourite REN product of mine is the Evercalm Day Cream (here). During the colder months as I mentioned here, I tend to get red skin patches where the cold freeze hits my skin and the only product I have found that doesn’t dry out my skin and actually reduces the redness whilst restoring moisture that’s been lost. It also adds a little glow to your skin that helps leaving your skin look a little younger.

Now my lips, most probably the worst effected area during the colder months. I find they are constantly chapped and the only thing to work their miracle on them is Jo Malones Vitamin E Lip Balm (here) and it does exactly what it says. I carry this everywhere with me.

Now oils are essential for winter. Oils will help to add a little glow and balance to the skin and my favourite in my opinion is Jurlique’s Skin Balancing Face Oil (I talked about it here). It’s the treatment miracle oil I call it. It will make you feel super glamorous in the day and I apply a little before bed time as it’s deeply scented which makes for a lovely sleep!

So that’s a little of my favourite cult beauty buys for my winter edit. Im working with the lovely Chlo Chlo Organics on organic skincare for Spring and cant wait to show you that edit.
