I’ve been recently shopping for a new piece of art to hang in our dinning space above the table, and you guys know how much I love my art, but I can’t seem to find the right piece. So I headed to the city with Becca from Iambecca to check out some art for some inspiration and a spot of light lunch. People can check mood rings which goes completely with the outfit.
I have just talked about my love of gingham (here) so it was no surprise that I would get this super pretty matching two-piece from Mango (blazer here and skirt here) as it was exactly what I was looking for. This is by far my favourite print this season, and I cant believe I have only just started wearing it. Wearing a matching two-piece suit can be super tricky but this skirt option is a great alternative. I’m not usually one for mini skirts, but what I love about this one is the way it fits and hangs on my body. The length is perfect and sits nicely in between the super short and midi bracket, which means I can bend down in this skirt without any thing on show and it will suit any shape or size. I styled the skirt with the matching blazer (here and now in the sale) and my ganni top (here) for a more casual day to day look.
The suit is lightweight with a linen texture which makes it perfect for the Spring/Summer days ahead. I styled it with my FreePeople sandals (here and my new colour here– which is for my Italy road trip) as it was super sunny, but I am doing a video on 4 different ways to style this look and it looks great teamed with sneakers too! I’m also wearing my new Tom Ford sunglasses, which are a little bigger than my face, but helps to create that 70’s feel I am totally obsessing over.
What’s your signature style and how did you make it your own? Drop me a comment below and let me know!
I love this look so much I just wish I could afford the blazer! But I did manage to get hold of the skirt. I find you so inspiring and fresh and love everything you do. Keep it up
