Dior products your beauty counter need

I’ve teamed up with the Dior Beauty and picked three products I hadn’t tried before and here’s what I found!

Dior Redness Soother

It’s that time of year when the weather drops in temperature and it’s the start of the colder months to come. My skin during this time of year really suffers especially around my nose area. I have these little red spots and a rash that seem to surround my nose in particular, and that’s without the irritation of blowing a runny nose! I’ve never had this before, until the day of my wedding (it was a spring wedding but the weather turned beyond cold!) and I noticed a red rash that seemed to keep growing and not going away!

I tried ever product known to help sooth redness from Clinique’s Redness solutions soother which worked but as soon as you stop using it, the redness slowly appears to Nivea cream. Then I had the fantastic opportunity to work with Dior and I had mentioned the skin problems I had and they sent me there treatment for sensitive skin. And you know what it’s the ideal treatment for these sensitive areas. The serum comes in a green bottle (here) packed with a blend of protective cotton peptides derived from natural sources that target the problem areas by soothing it in the first instance. It’s super gentle on your skin and from the first application the area felt totally smooth, it was still visible but smoother. I used it everyday over the last 3 weeks. First thing in the morning after washing and cleaning my face and then just before bed after a nice bath. I did this for 3 weeks and the results for me is the best I’ve used to tackle this problem! The product is enriched with antioxidants like Iris, and the green texture helps to calm the skin as well as leaving it fresh. I’m beyond pleased with the results, however the results will only come if you continue to apply a two drop serum amount every morning and before bed time (this is what worked for me, it may differ for you). The area is soothed and feels calm within an instance and the redness has slowly disappeared and with a little redness still there I’m going to have to buy another bottle to take to France with me!

Dior Laquer Lip Plump- Shade 426

How exciting to try Dior’s first lacquer in a stick (here)! It has the comfort of a lip balm whilst acting liking a lipstick with full colour coverage in just one swipe of application! I picked shade 426 as it’s a super natural nude colour tone that will suit every skin tone due to the neutral tone. It’s gorgeously packages in a glass type bottle that’s weightless and easy to pop into one of your very own bags! I found the colour really sticks to your lips which is always a plus, however I didn’t find it lasted the whole 6 hours as it says it does. I probably reapplied every 2-3 hours however it did keep my lips looking and feeling super plumped so I’m wanting to pick different shades to take with me next week on my travels fr a beauty tutorial I am doing with I am Becca!

Dior Pump and Volume

Now I have been using YSL shocking mascara for some time now so I was excited to try something different and I’ve seen all my favourite bloggers using Dior pump and volume (here). It’s reasonably priced at under £25.00 and does exactly what it says it will- add volume to those lashes! I felt like t created a faux eyelash effect without looking clogged so I was happy with the result. It has a squeezable brush which means this technique enables an immediate and Columbus effect adding a little drama for your day to day look. The thing that I can’t get enough of with this product is the ” NO-CLOGGING” effect! I get this with a lot of mascaras I have tried and I hate that look where it looks like you have been literally applying after applying. So this mascara is my new go-to I think!
