How To Wear Colour for Fall W/ Rails

Lately I have been staying clear of my usual, what I would say monochrome black or white look and have been injecting some pops of colour into my wardrobe for this new season, which you guys can totally do too! I think a lot of people associate colours with only Spring or Summer but that’s one of myth’s wrongful tales. Adding a little bit of your colour to the colder months is a great (not to mention fun) way of adding a little unexpected twist to an outfit.

Here I’m wearing the Rails Camille Rainbow sweater  (here and similar here). When its cold I like to feel super cosy and warm and this sweater does just that! But it’s not like any other sweater, its Mohair and wool feel gives a luxury feel which instantly gives me the feel good factor, and I don’t know about you but I need that feel good factor. I’m wearing a size Small, but when it comes to purchasing any sweater I always like to go up a size for a relaxed and oversized fit. In doing this it gives off  a really luxury and expensive feel. I’ve styled the look with my new Alexa Chung denim jeans ( similar here) via Net-A-Porter.  If you keep the bottoms simple and plain it of-sets the look beautifully and isn’t too much. As these are slightly high-waisted, I’ve tucked my jumper in the front and let it hang loose at the back. Styling it like this gives different dimensions to an outfit. To finish the look off, I’ve styled it with my favourite & Other Stories Snakeskin boots (here and similar here) and I love how the clash of colours and stripe work really well for a fun off-duty look.

The bag is from Simon Miller (here and similar here) and its my favourite bag designer I have come across in a while. My earrings were gifted from Astrid and Miyu (here) and they give a little sass to the outfit The finishing touch to any outfit is to add a little touch of gold jewellery.

LOVE that rainbow jumper. Cosy and feminine, a refreshing change from all of the neutrals this season.
