I’m totally loving cosier and warmer outfits at the moment and if you have been following me I’m sure you guys may have got a slight glimpse into just how much I love monochromatic looks! This look works really good at this time of year and it’s super easy to style from an already built capsule at home.
To separate the tone of the look, this belt bag factor helps elevate the look whilst making a subtle statement. It also helps in drawing attention to a feminine figure whilst giving this mummy a break from holding bags! Now as a mother you guys will know just how much you need your hands, right?!
I really love the camel tone trousers (here and similar version here), and it’s nice to give my denim pants a break and swap for some formal trousers but in a dressed down environment. Here I’m wearing an off white soft jumper worth a scarf. I’ve seen this kind of jumper off the runways back last season so I had to grab my hands on it when Mango released it. The jumper teamed with the formal trousers (here) via H&M looks really good for a dressed down feel and I’ve styled and finished the look off with my new big warm faux fur fox stripe from &other stories (now sold out but similar version here). I’ve wanted this coat for so long and managed to find it in the sale for under £130.00 and it’s fast become one of those jackets that you will never want to get rid of. A classic, investment piece.
To pull the look together and help me feel polished and ready to go, I’ve styled it with my favourite snakeskin ankle boots also from & other stories (here). They are super versatile and literally go With everything in my wardrobe.
So if you are looking to put together a monochromatic look keeping to the same pallets and mixing the textures up will definitely help you achieve this look!
