So you guys already know by now, just how much I am obsessed with skincare (as opposed to makeup!). It’s so important to look after your skin and the earlier you start the better, and I’ve teamed up with thisworks to talk you through a bed time routine involving their Deep Sleep Bath range. The bed time routine is probably the most important part of my busy routine. Being a mummy life is super busy. There are classes all day, cooking all day, creative activities to get them learning, it’s safe to say my skincare routine in the day can be very short and bedtime is the time of my day when I get to relax after popping them to bed and spend some really good time on me and my skin and here’s what I found after 4 weeks of trying:
The Deep Sleep Bath Soak
The deep bath soak (here) is like no other products I’ve tried and really wish you could smell this. Soothing lavender and vetivert salts are all the ingredients you need to help you get a good night sleep! I like to either bath or shower before I get into bed and lately I’ve been more drawn to baths just so I can use these salts. They help calm me down from a busy stressful day and I feel like I’m at the span but from my very own home. So for bath salts it’s a little on the pricey side, but the tub is actually a lot bigger than most salts and all you need is a spoonful of salts in the bath just before bed. Follow this up with the pillow spray (here) and I’ve seen a really big improvement in my sleeping. So I actually don’t sleep that much (mum life!) but I’ve never slept better and felt better at going to bed since using their bedtime products and it’s my favourite brand to use specifically for targeting this and don’t think I will be able to use anything else now!
Deep Sleep Bath Oil
A therapeutic blend of lavender, camomile and vetivert which are actually all the essentials you need to help get a good night sleep and boy does it work! Again the smell is divine (think spa!) this bath time oil (here) and it’s great to add into your bedtime bath routine (a small cap dosage) and it really does help in leaving all the stress and external pollution’s from your busy day behind! You only need a very small amount, especially if you are using it with the bath salts I’ve just mentioned and I’ve tried a lot of Bath oil as it’s been one of my ingredients for so long when it comes to bath and this one is high up there!
Mini solutions- Pillow spray and Stress Check roll on
Perfect sized mini solutions that you can totally take on your travels and help you get to sleep! I am always on the go so using this little stress roll (here) on to my pulse points will definitely help me unwind! I’ve been using it for the last 4 weeks and I take it everywhere with me. It’s great for when you do feel slightly stressed or agitated at some point throughout the day I rub the stress check roll on on to the pulses on my wrist.
