It’s finally a little warmer and the new season has got me super excited! We have just booked another family holiday for 10 days so I’m really looking forward to spending family days in sunnier climates, which means I can finally wear hues of white and lighter colours. It’s that awkward time of the year where we transition our winter wardrobe for our summer wardrobe and since it is getting a little warmer I find I want to wear something other than denim pants and a good alternative for wearing denim on denim is the denim skirt! Double denim was super huge in the 90’s and early 00’s (think Justin and Britney!) and every year we see this trend coming back during the spring months, but this year its with the twist of the midi skirt and I found this one here (similar here and here) from Topshop (now under £25.00) from their new-in pieces and teamed it with my Mango (here) white denim jacket for my take on the double denim trend. I added this Adidas khaki green top (similar here) for an effortless off-duty look. I love to mix athlesiure with different surroundings over than the gym and I think this works well in adding a little pop of colour to a one shaded look.
For footwear I’m wearing my ByFar (here) mom mules as it’s getting warmer its super nice to get the feet out and the mom mule trend is set to be big this season so I’m glad I managed to grab these last year! I’m also wearing my new belt bag (here) and I talked about the many ways you can wear the belt bag (here) and I chose to wear it like this as we were off for more pasta (with no sauce spillage on this look i might add!). Denim on denim is such a huge hit every year and I’m super excited to incorporate more of this trend.
