How to update your off-duty style? Simply add a pair of chic hiker boots like this pair from Dune (here). Now I will be the first to admit and hold my hands up and say “I can never wear hiker boots”, I always scroll through Instagram and see various of my favourite with this type of boots for AW19, but always assumed I was too small to wear these and wasn’t able to find the right pair! Led by the likes of Gucci and Off-White the night street Dune have made the perfect pair of hiker boots here (here) that can be worn not only for the duration of the season but will take you nicely into next season teamed with pretty white dresses (these boots will add a touch of toughness to your look)!
Hiking boots this season are the golden sartorial ticket (think how the western boots were…same thing). What I love about this pair from Dune is that you can wear them bare legs like I have styled here (add some chunky socks if you wish!) it add a pair of jeans or thick tights or even styled with mini skirts for the new season. They go simply with everything and anything and I really can’t take these off at the moment. I love the chunky sole on my Dune pair that add a little extra height and help elongate my legs not to mention the most important thing for me at the moment being 8 months pregnant which is the practicality of them! As well as going with everything they are totally durable, tough, easily wearable and actually an investment piece for your wardrobe as you know these will still be the “it ” boots for next AW20 too. This Dune pair are super comfortable and exactly the pair I was after. I’ve styled it here with their Dellah tan backpack (here) which has been a lifesaver for this mamma! I can wear it as a backpack or as a clutch and in this seasons favourite tan hue it’s become one of my favourite bags to wear this season.
I’ve styled the look with the rails denim dress for a 70’s feel (here) which is new in and my favourite new trench (here) which considering the weather is totally weather appropriate.
So if you’re looking to invest in one thing those season and in other words if you haven’t already invested in this style boots…it might be about to do just that!
