
Let’s talk about sustainable fashion…a movement and process towards a new fostering of changes going on in the fashion world. A change to bring greater ecological integrity that brands now want to commit to, a new form and way that fashion is now working hard toward to commit to an eco friendly fashion, so when one of your favourite high street brands does that it’s super hard to ignore!
French connection have released a capsule collection that uses recycled goods, like this neon searsucker gingham dress (here) that’s made and created from post- consumer plastic as well as recycled polyester that prevents this material from going to waste! Now how awesome is that! The dress is super pretty on and is reminiscent of those warm weather days we hopefully get to see soon! It’s created with a waist -cinching drawstring detail to help pull you in, a curved hem to flatten the style of the dress and looks great styles with trainers for a day time look or some cute strap of sandals for a girls brunch look!
I’ve styled it here with their moon bag that has been crafted from 100% recycled leather making my every day essential that much more friendlier to the environment! We can all do our bit for the environment, whether it’s renting clothes or purchasing recycled products like these it’s truly amazing seeing brands starting to take action!
