If there’s one thing for sure, is that neon yellow is a huge mood buster and it suits anyone and everyone! It’s simple to wear, by simply keeping everything else low key in terms of simplicity. Here I’m wearing this dress (here) from Nastygal (here)that seems to have taken Instagram by a storm! It’s beautiful feminine romantic sleeves with its super big sleeves ticks and neon colours tick the boxes for SS20 trends. If you are wondering how can you wear neon colour or even think about adding it to your wardrobe, it’s actually super easier and the trick is less is more. You could say that Hi-Vis hues are this seasons must have colours. From hot pink to lime green to neon yellow these colours are loud and proud. When thinking of how to wear this you can add these into your existing wardrobe by mixing them with your sleek tailored pieces you have in your wardrobe. If I was going to wear this out I would think about teaming an over-sized tan blazer with some matching shoes to ensure its not so overwhelming. However if you wanted to be brave my favourite colour combination at the moment is yellow and blue and they look great together, I would also think about teaming these with some blue mules I have.
As I am at home I have styled this with my new piece t-bar snake necklace from ottoman hands (here) and kept my makeup to a minimal (just added concealer for those dark mummy circles that won’t go away!) and my hair down and fresh as I had just come out of the shower and in time for the bbq. What I love most about this versatile dress is that its great to just throw on for something like a stay at home dinner and great for going out in with some heels or tuck into a mini skirt and wear as a top.
