I think it’s safe to say that the most of us are having a “staycation” and for me in particular as I have kids we have booked our holidays for next year and have decided to stay out and make the most out of there summer at home, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still dress up and feel good so that’s exactly what we did over the weekend!
I wore the Olivia Rubin Ren floral wrap dress (here) and it’s an easy and my kinda summer uniform to wear that ticks every trend for SS20. Really cute fun print with a hint of sass and sophistication that will be sure to get you out of your sweatpants you have been living in over the last couple of months. With the weather heating up it’s the perfect attire to host a garden party. Its a super easy throw on dress that hangs effortlessly and needs very little styling if any. I’m obsessed with the neon colours that give a slight nod to the 80s with a slight ease of sophistication. I’ve styled it with a fresh and much needed overdue haircut and a padded headband (here). I’m also wearing the Motley Gold baby sunny hoop (here).
The dress is a wrap dress with really pretty bow ruffles that are buttoned on , so if you wanted to take it off you can. I’m wearing a size 8 here and fits true to size. It hangs perfectly in a really effortless way and these are my kinda dresses. The puff shoulders are just a dream and the length (Olivia Rubin also has this in a midi version here) is perfect for me. I wore this for the Sheerluxe takeover with some wrap around sandals (here) for a daytime look that you can also wear with heels for that post- lockdown date night you have been lusting after!
